This Cajun chicken pasta is an easy, delicious, and flavorful dish and a must try! Chicken, noodles, peppers, onions, milk and cheese- it is just one of those dishes that you continue to crave! Let’s make it!
Instructions to Make Cajun Chicken Pasta
Preheat oven to 350. Place chicken breasts in a pan, cover with oil, and place 1 tbsp cajun seasoning on it. Turn over as needed to properly coat chicken. ( See Note 1). Bake for 40 minutes.
Meanwhile, chop the peppers and onions. In a frying pan, place the last tbsp of oil and cook onions, garlic and peppers for ~2 minutes. Place in the noodles, rest of Cajun seasoning, milk, cheese and broth into pan. Stir frequently and let noodles cook for ~8 minutes. Dish should come out creamy and liquid should be evaporated and soaked up by the noodles.
Place noodle dish into the pan and place sliced chicken on top.
Notes
- Cajun seasoning is more on the spicy side, so if you prefer flavor without a lot of kick, just reduce the amount of seasoning you add to the chicken and pasta
- Depending on the noodle you choose to make it with, the dish may require more milk and/or broth depending on how much each noodle soaks up the sauce
