Come try this 3-step and 3 ingredient recipe that is perfect for nights where there isn’t much time to make an elaborate meal, but you’re still looking for something tasty and reliable. This cream cheese chicken bacon wrap is a bursting with flavor, even with just 3 ingredients!
I make this recipe frequently when I need something quick while knowing it will be consistently delicious. The cream cheese chicken bacon wrap is very dependable and can easily be doubled or tripled depending on how many people you are cooking for or for how many days you want it as a leftover. It makes a great leftover as the cream cheese helps the chicken to not dry out! Love cream cheese? Try out other cream cheese recipes!
Instructions:
- Pound out the chicken ~1 inch thick and spread 1/4 of the brick onto the chicken breast (*See tip 1)
- Take one end of chicken and roll it towards the other end, trapping all cream cheese contents inside
- Wrap bacon around outside of chicken to help hold the chicken together and bake in oven (*See tip 2)
Tips
- I use the OXO meat tenderizer to make the chicken breasts thinner. But, you can purchase thinly sliced chicken breast if you do not want to pound out your chicken breasts by hand
- I use Jennie-O turkey bacon because I prefer it over real bacon, and it cooks better in the oven around chicken. I tried using real bacon one time and the bacon did not crisp up at all.
- Broil your chicken on high after it is done cooking for ~5 minutes maximum. This helps the bacon crisp and the chicken to slightly brown.
